Strine Grows its large format firepower with 64 inch UV press with double coater

York, PA, August 1, 2006 - Strine Printing, the largest commercial and packaging printer in the northeastern United States is growing its already burgeoning sheetfed printing facility with the addition of a seven-color, 64" Roland 900 XXL press from MAN Roland. The press is equipped with UV capabilities, a double coater and extended delivery. Minimum sheet size is 23 x 35 and maximum sheet size is 47.25 x 63.875. It will run 80# text lightest stock to 40 ml stock heaviest.

"In the POP market, being able to run UV inks is critical," says Michael Strine, Sr., Strine's Chairman and CEO. "Our diversification strategy has never proven us wrong and our customers are thrilled at the new capabilities on the horizon."

Strine has the largest Roland 900 fleet in the country, with two six-color 55" presses with aqueous coaters and a six-color 73" with UV coater. The press is scheduled to be installed this fall.
