York, PA, March 03, 2009 - Laird Plastics is proud to award Strine Printing, the 2008 Recycler of the Year award, recycling 630,131 pounds of various plastic materials.  Dana Stone, Laird Bristol's Operations Manager, and Scott Drummond of Trinity Polymers presented Charlie Grimm of Strine Printing with this prestigious award February 26th.  Strine Printing has demonstrated environmental leadership and has assisted Laird Plastics Bristol to develop a moving forward recycling path.

Laird Plastics in Bristol, PA, a member of the IAPD (International Association of Plastics Distribution), has adopted "Best Practices" in regards to conservation of environment to their business operations.  These best practices focus on: Energy Consumption, Emissions and Recycling.
