The Best in Litho Laminating is now at Strine

York, PA, January 1, 2007 - Strine Printing has added an exciting new in-house capability that should prove beneficial to many of our customers in the form of a state-of-the-art sheet-to-sheet Litho Laminator. This highly flexible machine will mount two sheets of material (a base sheet and a label sheet) ranging from lightweight text label stock to SBS, Clipboard, heavy corrugated, Foamcore or Gatorboard.

In order to better service our most critical display and point-of-purchase customers, Strine has made the investment in the best equipment available, capable of handling sizes from
20" x 16" (1-up) to 39" x 65" and quantities ranging from several dozen to many thousand of pieces. Even our large format presses can only run material up to a certain thickness (typically .044 in.), but this laminating process enables us to take those printed sheets and create a "built-up" product that can be as thick as 3/4". The registration from side-to-side is very precise allowing for the creation of a two sided printed product as well.

If you have a need in this area or simply want to better understand the process and the possibilities, please as your sales or customer service contact for more information.
