Strine Printing Company, Inc. is committed to the sustainable use of natural resources, to demonstrate good corporate citizenship in environmental matters, and to minimize adverse environmental impart from our manufacturing operations.
We take our responsibility for the environment very seriously. We encourage everyone to develop an awareness of environmental issues and to take the most practical steps possible to protect the environment
Strine will continue to work with governmental agencies and NGO's involved in environmental protection activities to establish sensible regulations based on sound science. Strine also will conform to administrative permit requirements and legally established quality standards.
Recognizing that prevention is the best way to minimize adverse environmental impact, Strine will:
- Use cost-effective manufacturing processes with the objective of reducing waste generation and/or pollutant emissions.
- Use non-hazardous materials, to the extent feasible.
- Reclaim for reuse waste materials generated in our facility whenever possible and practical.
Strine will dispose of its waste products in conformity with current laws and regulations. Listed in order of preference, we will:
- Recycle waste materials through acceptable programs.
- Landfill only those materials, which cannot be reused, recycled or disposed of in any other feasible manner.
Strine will employ effective environmental technologies and strategies to minimize environmental impact. Furthermore, Strine will maintain procedures and equipment to handle environmental emergencies. In conclusion, Strine will always strive to be a leader in the graphic arts industry for environmental sustainability.
